SBOING won the 15.000 euro award of the LDA Competition with the sbCliMate app, an add-on to sbNavi™, the SBOING navigator

sbCliMate provides a real-time and 3-day prediction info-layer to the SBOING navigator for ambient temperature, fire probability, fire zones, atmospheric pollution (PM10 and PM2.5 indices), UV levels and Ozone density, derived from Earth-observation satellite data.

The LDA project (http://www.ldathens.eu) aims at implementing on a large scale, and in a real life test bed, innovative mobile services based on COPERNICUS (The European Earth Observation Programme, former GMES, http://www.copernicus.eu) and GNSS (The Global Navigation Satellite System, http://www.gsa.europa.eu) in the region of Attica, Greece.

The project is co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the European Mobile and Mobility Industries Alliance for the development of large-scale demonstrators in support of COPERNICUS (former GMES) and GNSS based services in Europe.
