METPEX will be presented to an audience of public transport stakeholders and professionals in Turin (Italy)

The METPEX project will be presented to an audience of public  transport stakeholders and professionals during a seminar to be held in Turin (Italy), on Friday 10th May 2013.

The focus of the seminar will be on quality issues in local public transport. Some of the most relevant aspects will be covered through a series of presentations, including a review of PT quality measurement methods in the EU, an analysis on the European norm EN13816 and additional discussions on the role of monitoring systems, maintenance actions and technology implementations. Following these presentations, a panel discussion will involve the main transport policy makers and stakeholders in northern Italy, including Piedmont Region, Turin metropolitan mobility agency, Turin Province and some PT operators.

The seminar is organised by the Italian association of transport engineers (www.aiit.it ), on Friday, 10th May 2013 from 9am till 1pm at the “Sala Gialla” (Yellow room) located in the “Educatorio della Provvidenza” building, Corso Trento 13 – 10129orino. The language for this event is Italian.
